Our Charitable Contributions

At C.O.I.L., we hold a profound belief in the importance of giving back to the communities that support us. While our athletes may compete fiercely in the ring, our true mission extends far beyond the sport itself. We strive to make a meaningful impact through our revenue-sharing model, which allows us to support vital causes that resonate with our values and the values of the communities we serve.

Here’s how we thoughtfully allocate the revenue from our events:

33% of revenue is returned to the host school: This portion is dedicated to covering the essential expenses associated with hosting the event, ensuring that schools can continue to provide a nurturing environment for their students.

33% to the C.O.I.L. operational budget: This support is crucial for our continued ability to deliver quality programs and events that inspire and engage our participants and continue to make a difference in our world.

34% to the charity chosen by the host school: This allocation reflects our heartfelt commitment to making a difference in the lives of others, supporting causes that are close to the hearts of those who host our events.

To date, we have proudly donated over $4,500 to a variety of organizations that are doing remarkable work, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Juvenile Diabetes Cure Alliance, Love Our Heroes, the American Cancer Society, Fischer House, Turning Point, and the Common Ground Free Store. These contributions represent our collective effort to support those in need and uplift our communities.

We have also taken part in organizing teams for meaningful events like the Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome Awareness and the Polar Plunge to support the Special Olympics of Ohio. Through these initiatives, we have not only raised an additional $2,000 for these organizations but also fostered a sense of community and solidarity, reminding everyone involved of the power of compassion and unity. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of many.
